Lobsterstar Order Cancellation and Modification Policy

At Lobsterstar, we pride ourselves on our rapid fulfillment system. Because we maintain a strict 1-day handling time to ensure your headsets, keyboards, and controllers reach you within our 2-6 day transit window, the timeframe for canceling or modifying an order is very narrow. We have established this policy to provide clear guidelines on how to manage your order after it has been placed on lobsterstar.com.

1. Order Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances can change. We offer full cancellations provided the request is made before the order enters the final stages of our fulfillment process.

The Cancellation Window:

  • Same-Day Cancellations: If you place an order before 5:00 PM EST, contact us within 60 minutes of purchase.
  • Late-Day/Weekend Cancellations: If you order after 5:00 PM EST or on weekends, you have until 9:00 AM EST on the following business day.

Cancellation Fees: Lobsterstar does not charge any fees. If successfully canceled before shipment, you will receive a 100% refund (including the $6.99 shipping fee).

2. Order Modification Policy

Modifications include changing shipping addresses, swapping colors, or adjusting quantities.

  • Address Changes: Possible only before dispatch. Once the package is with USPS, UPS, or FedEx, we cannot reroute it.
  • Product Swaps: Contact us immediately. If there is a price difference, we will assist with the balance or partial refund. If already packed, you must follow the Return Policy.

3. Procedure for Requesting a Change or Cancellation

Please follow these steps for priority handling:

Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once the change is applied.

4. Orders Already in Transit

If the 1-day handling period is complete and the order has been dispatched, we cannot stop delivery. You have two options:

  1. Accept and Return: Accept the package and use our 60-day Return Policy for a full refund (pre-paid label provided).
  2. Refuse Delivery: Refuse the package at the door. Once returned to us, we will process your refund (note: this may take longer than a standard return).

5. Refund Processing for Cancellations

When an order is successfully canceled:

  • The authorization “hold” on your funds is released immediately.
  • Bank processing typically takes 3 to 7 business days to reflect in your balance.
